Improving financial reporting in private firms’ interest, new study of emerging markets suggests

TORONTO, ON – Improved financial reporting at private firms benefits not only potential outside investors but will help the firm make better business decisions for itself too, says a new study. U of T researchers collaborate internationally to reduce one of the most common chronic childhood diseases

TORONTO, ON - The Canadian Institutes of Health Research will donate $1.2 million towards new research aimed at reducing childhood tooth decay among the First Nations community. The research will examine a new approach to dental care that employs four concurrent therapies to people living within First Nations communities. New stingray genus discovered in the Amazon

TORONTO, ON – A biologist from the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) has discovered a new kind of tropical freshwater stingray. Nathan Lovejoy, an associate professor of ecology and evolutionary biology at UTSC, is co-author on a new study detailing the discovery of a new genus and two new species of stingrays found in the upper Amazon.
