From Toronto to Seoul and beyond — A pre G‑20 conference in Seoul on October 25, 2010

TORONTO, ON — The G20 Research Group, with its part­ners the Korea Cap­i­tal Mar­ket Insti­tute and Kore­a’s largest news­pa­per, Chosun Ilbo, are pleased to present its first pre-G20 sum­mit aca­d­e­m­ic con­fer­ence.

The con­fer­ence will take place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul on Mon­day, Octo­ber 25, and will be web­cast live, begin­ning at 9:00 AM (Seoul time).

It will open with keynote address­es by Kore­an finance min­is­ter Yoon Jeung-hyun and Cana­di­an finance min­is­ter Jim Fla­her­ty, fresh from the G20 finance min­is­te­r­i­al meet­ing in Gyeongju.

Mr. Fla­her­ty will be avail­able for a press con­fer­ence for media present at the con­fer­ence at the Grand Hyatt at 10:30 AM (Seoul time). The press con­fer­ence will not be web­cast.
