U of T launches India Innovation Institute

TORONTO, ON – David Naylor, President of the University of Toronto, launches the India Innovation Institute. A joint initiative of the Munk School of Global Affairs and the Rotman School of Management, the India Innovation Institute will be a multidisciplinary hub for faculty and students researching the field of innovation.
Preeti Saran, Consul General of India and Shashi Tharoor, former Under Secretary General of the United Nations and current member of the Lok Sabha in India will deliver remarks. The event will take place on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 pm at Munk School of Global Affairs, Trinity College, 1 Devonshire Place.
