While Rotman students regularly reach the finals of the challenge, this was the first Rotman team which managed to win the $10,000 first place prize.

Earlier in the month on January 10, a team from the Rotman Master of Finance program won the inaugural CFA Master of Finance Ethics Challenge. This event was created by the CFA Institute, the CFA Society Toronto and the three Master of Finance programs in Toronto to promote ethics in the finance profession and to raise awareness of the MFin degree.
