Sit in the city: Toronto group crowdsources map of public seating

Earlier this summer, a group of young, urban-minded Torontonians pushing for better public seating in the city staged a “sit-in” downtown, bringing portable chairs to places that lacked seating. Now, they’ve partnered with the Martin Institute of Prosperity at the University of Toronto to build a crowdsourced map of the best – and worst – places to park your butt in the city. Read more.
