U of T and CUPE Reach New Tentative Agreement

TORONTO, ON — The University of Toronto announced that CUPE 3902 Unit 1 and the University have reached a new tentative agreement.
“We are very pleased that we have reached a tentative agreement,” said Professor Cheryl Regehr, the University’s vice-president and provost. “The revised offer of settlement will now proceed to the next step towards ratification, which will be a meeting of CUPE members this week.”
“We hope all CUPE Unit 1 members learn more about the offer, attend the meeting and let their voices be heard,” said Professor Angela Hildyard, the University’s vice-president, human resources & equity. “We remain hopeful that the strike will end soon.”
