New Team Starts Work at the Rotman School’s Impact Consulting Group

Toron­to, ON – A new team of tal­ent­ed MBA stu­dents from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Toronto’s Rot­man School of Man­age­ment has joined the Impact Con­sult­ing Group for 2017–18.

Found­ed at the Uni­ver­si­ty in 1972, Impact Con­sult­ing Group has a long his­to­ry of deliv­er­ing high qual­i­ty con­sult­ing ser­vices to grow­ing busi­ness­es at com­pet­i­tive rates. Each year, a new team of Rot­man MBA stu­dents is select­ed to lead the orga­ni­za­tion based on their prob­lem-solv­ing skills, crit­i­cal think­ing and indus­try exper­tise. Impact offers a wide vari­ety of con­sult­ing ser­vices includ­ing mar­ket research, mar­ket­ing strat­e­gy, finan­cial mod­el­ling, and strate­gic plan­ning and imple­men­ta­tion.

The 2017–18 Impact Prin­ci­pals, Adri­an Sho­jaei, Albert Cues­ta Reig, Gau­rav Marchan­da, Matt Gaetz and Sukhman Kalra, col­lec­tive­ly bring in expe­ri­ence from dif­fer­ent seg­ments includ­ing con­sult­ing, mar­ket­ing, finance, account­ing, busi­ness design and M&A. Even more impres­sive is the width of indus­try expe­ri­ence, attained at For­tune 500 com­pa­nies such as Deloitte and KPMG, which spans across con­sumer goods, retail, health­care, archi­tec­ture and con­struc­tion, tech­nol­o­gy, human cap­i­tal devel­op­ment, sus­tain­abil­i­ty, biotech­nol­o­gy and edu­ca­tion. Hav­ing lived and worked in North Amer­i­ca, Europe, Mid­dle East and Asia, the prin­ci­pals bring a fresh per­spec­tive to solve chal­leng­ing busi­ness prob­lems.

Based at the Rot­man School of Man­age­ment, Impact lever­ages the vast net­work of resources of their Board of Advi­sors, the Rot­man School and the Uni­ver­si­ty of Toron­to to gain access to lead­ing indus­try research and dis­tinct per­spec­tives on busi­ness trends.
