Leader in wealth management appointed at the Rotman School of Management

TORONTO, ON – A finance industry veteran with over 30 years of experience has been appointed as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
Tom McCullough is Chairman and CEO of Northwood Family Office LP. He has spent over 30 years in the wealth management/family office field, initially in senior executive roles with RBC Wealth Management.
Founded in 2003, Northwood Family Office has quickly become one of the leaders in its field and has been recognized as the ‘#1 independent family office in Canada’ by Euromoney in its global private banking survey. A family office acts as a personal CFO or chief advisor to successful families, with a dedicated team of professionals who oversee and manage the complete financial affairs of client families.
Currently he is teaching ‘The Management of Private Wealth’ in the MBA program at the Rotman School and is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Western University’s Ivey School of Business. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Wealth Management, holds a certificate in Family Business Advising from the Family Firm Institute, is the founding Chair of the Canadian Private Family Office Invitational Summit, and founding Co-Chair of the Canadian Family Office and Advisors’ Forum.
He holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University, as well as the CIM (Chartered Investment Manager) and CSWP (Chartered Strategic Wealth Professional) designations, and is a registered Portfolio Manager.
