G20 experts available to comment from Brisbane, Australia

The first members of G20 Research Group’s team of experts and analysts have arrived in Brisbane for the G20 summit on November 15–16:

The rest of the team will arrive in time for the pre-summit conference on “Strengthening Global Growth: The G20 Brisbane Summit’s Challenges and Contributions,” co-hosted with Griffith University, and part of the Global Cafe at Brisbane City Hall on November 13–14.
Speakers include Australia’s Hon Josh Frydenberg MP, Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister, Turkish prime minister Professor Dr Ahmet Davutoglu, Angel GurrIa, Secretary General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, and Sandra Polaski, Deputy Director-General for Policy at the International Labour Organization, Tas Anvaripour of the Africa50 Infrastructure Fund, the ICC’s Terry McGraw, Rio Tinto’s Sam Walsh, Wang Wen and Zhang Yanling of the Chongyang Institute on Financial Studies at Renmin University of China, and Griffith University’s Russell Trood, Charles Sampford and AJ Brown, among many others. The G20 Research Group’s final compliance report on progress achieved by the G20 in meeting its commitments made at 2013 St. Petersburg Summit will be released at the conference on November 13.
