For students abroad on exchange, parents and faculty members

The Uni­ver­si­ty of Toron­to is shocked and sad­dened by the trag­ic events unfold­ing in Paris, France.
 
The Uni­ver­si­ty has con­tact­ed all the stu­dents who are reg­is­tered with the U of T safe­ty abroad office and liv­ing in Paris, France. We con­tin­ue to mon­i­tor the sit­u­a­tion close­ly. All stu­dents on exchange in France are asked to con­tact the Safe­ty Abroad Office via email at safety.abroad@utoronto.ca.  
 
If you are a par­ent or fam­i­ly mem­ber with a stu­dent abroad on a uni­ver­si­ty pro­gram, please email safety.abroad@utoronto.ca and we will pro­vide you with updat­ed infor­ma­tion as it is avail­able on the sit­u­a­tion involv­ing stu­dents. The uni­ver­si­ty also asks any fac­ul­ty mem­bers in France to con­tact their chairs to inform them of their sta­tus.
