Canon Dr. George Sumner, Principal of Wycliffe College.

Along with Mr. Dickey, Wycliffe College will confer honourary degrees to: Ms. Jennifer Harold, of World Vision International (Doctor of Sacred Letters), and the Right Reverend Doctor Grant

Wycliffe College is the largest theological College in North America in the Anglican tradition, which prepares men and women for ministries in the Church, in international development, and advanced theological scholarship.

“Receiving a Doctor of Sacred Letters from an institution such as Wycliffe College is an honour and a blessing. I am truly appreciative as it is important to me that the life I live is not limited to the baseball field, but extends to putting a name, a face, and a voice to so many of those in our community and across the world who otherwise are unable to do so themselves.” R.A. Dickey, Pitcher, Toronto Blue Jays.
