Rotman School hosts Women in Management MBA open house

TORONTO, ON – From the classroom to the boardroom, the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto supports women in their efforts to advance and be successful in their careers. On December 2, the school will be hosting the annual Rotman Women in Management Open House which allows prospective female candidates for the Rotman MBA programs to explore the benefits of pursuing the degree from many perspectives.
The open house allows participants to gain insight into every aspect of the MBA cycle, from the admission process, the program, career opportunities and the alumni network.
The evening kicks off at 5:30 pm with a panel discussion moderated by Beatrix Dart, Executive Director, Rotman Initiative for Women in Business and Associate Dean, Executive Degree Programs. Other panelists include:
• Kathy Butler (Full-Time MBA 1996), Managing Director, Investment Banking (Vancouver), CIBC World Markets Inc.;
• Jane van Alphen (Evening MBA 2003), Vice President, Operations, Ontario Institute for Cancer Research;
• Julieta Pineda (Executive MBA 2007), Director, McDonald’s in Walmart; and,
• Shilpa Mandhan (Full-Time MBA 2011).
