LOS CABOS, MEXICO – The G20 Research Group, with Moscow’s Higher School of Economics, has released the 2011 G20 Cannes Summit Final Compliance Report, which measures the performance of the G20 members with 16 of the more than 200 commitments made at last year’s Cannes Summit.
On the eve of the 2012 G20 summit, hosted by Mexico on June 18-19, this offers an opportunity to see how much G20 have complied with pledges on trade, finance, energy, development and more.
Leading the members is the United Kingdom, followed by the European Union, Italy, Canada and Australia. The issues with the highest compliance scores are clean energy technologies, food export restrictions, systemically important financial institutions and over-the-counter derivatives.
